Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a new colleague to join our school and our dedicated team in grades 4-6. We are seeking a qualified and certified classroom teacher for the middle school who, together with colleagues, wants to develop the teaching at Glasbruksskolan. In this position, you will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessment related to the curriculum and our local quality work. By collaborating with each other, we aim to create the best conditions for every student to succeed and believe in their own abilities.

Qualifications

You are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach Swedish/SVA, Math, English, and Science in grades 4-6. You are well acquainted with the school's governing documents and have a good ability to implement these documents in practice, as well as an investigative approach to your practice. You have an easy time building good and trustworthy relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Personal suitability is of great importance.

Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. Of course, you maintain a professional attitude and work towards good relationships with our students, their guardians, and all your colleagues at the school.

About the Workplace

Glasbruksskolan is located in Limhamns Sjöstad and was inaugurated in September 2016. Glasbruksskolan is an F-6 school with approximately 550 students, and the principal's area also includes Skolan på Ön. The after-school care is integrated with the school. In the principal's area, we want to:
