The Education Administration is responsible for preschool, primary school, after-school care, high school, adult education, and student health. Here, about 1100 employees work together to create a safe and developing school and childcare.

Köpingebro School is a F-6 school with activities for children aged 6-13 years. The school is located 200 meters from the Köpingebro train station. There are about 400 students at the school, and approximately 220 of them are enrolled in the school's after-school care.

The school is beautifully situated close to forests, the sea, and the municipality's nature school Marietorp. On our large schoolyard, there are various opportunities for activities that promote play and movement, including an artificial grass pitch, an obstacle course, a large play area, and well-equipped playgrounds. We have a full-scale sports hall, an open library, and a school restaurant that serves students nutritious meals every day.

The work teams are divided into grades F-3, grades 4-6, and after-school care grades F-6.

Each grade works in interdisciplinary teams consisting of various professionals such as teachers, after-school educators, preschool teachers, childcare workers, or educational resources. The teams are adapted to needs, and no team is identical to another. The team's mission is to create the best possible teaching situation for all students, and groups change according to needs and development. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At Köpingebro School, you will have the opportunity, together with another special teacher and a special educator, to remove obstacles and support our students and educators in their knowledge development. As a special teacher, you will be part of our interdisciplinary student health team. We strive for good collaboration where the professionals in student health and teachers are given the opportunity to work together on leadership, stimulation, and other support measures.

As a special teacher, you will teach students, support teachers regarding special adaptations and support, and conduct assessments, analyses, and classroom observations. You will work closely with our teachers and teams to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment and assist in organizing teaching groups. Together with our teachers, you will follow up on resource allocation and monitor our students' results in teaching at both individual and group levels.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher in mathematics with a special education degree.

You should be flexible, calm, and have good collaboration skills. You should also have a good ability to communicate and build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You are driven to give our students the best conditions for development and learning. You have a good ability to work with other people. You have the ability to plan and organize your work and adapt as needed. You find it easy to set goals, organize resources, follow up, and complete activities. You encourage and support change initiatives.
