Olympiaskolan is a growing school offering the following programs: Child and Youth Work Program, Humanities Program, Introduction Program, Natural Science Program, and Social Science Program.

Job responsibilities

You will be part of an experienced faculty working together to support their students in the best possible way. The school also has a competent and fully staffed student health team that collaborates with teachers to promote good goal achievement among our students. Your position will include teaching natural science at the high school level and language introduction, as well as health pedagogy in the Child and Youth Work Program.

There may also be opportunities to teach other subjects.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is passionate about their subjects but even more about developing children and youth. You are a qualified teacher, and it is an advantage if you have worked with students in language introduction and with multilingual students. Experience teaching vocational programs is also a plus. You have a relational approach and a good ability to adapt your teaching to the needs and conditions of the students. You are collaborative and take the initiative for cooperation and exchange of experiences with your colleagues. You are good at reflecting on your own classroom practice and are willing to engage in pedagogical and didactic discussions with colleagues.
