Job Responsibilities
We are now looking for a teacher in Home and Consumer Studies for our grades 6-9. You will be part of a working group/subject team where you will plan and be responsible for our students' education and development together. Your work is anchored in research and proven experience. Together, we at Lindeborg School strive to create the best conditions for every student to develop in a safe and trusting environment. You will teach students in grades 3-9 in Physical Education and Health and challenge students to take their own initiatives and develop their abilities.
At Lindeborg School, you are offered the opportunity to help shape a school for everyone, where we develop together through collegial work. You will be led by a manager who values initiative, a desire for development, relationship-seeking methods, and the ability to clearly lead your students in their learning. Your role will include mentorship. As a mentor, you will have specific responsibility for a group of students, allowing you to closely follow their development, learning, and personal growth. As a mentor, you will inform and keep the student's guardians updated on the student's academic progress through regular development conversations.
Qualifications
You who are applying are a certified teacher with qualifications to teach grades 6-9 in Home and Consumer Studies. Previous experience as a teacher is considered an advantage. You have a good understanding of and knowledge about the school's governing documents and can effectively use them in your daily work. Furthermore, you possess strong didactic and pedagogical skills, enabling you to lead and organize your work to create a conducive learning environment for our students throughout their school day.
Based on evidence-based research, you can develop your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. You easily build sustainable relationships with our students and are a clear leader in the classroom who actively works with guidance and stimulation. You enjoy working closely with your colleagues and being an active part of our students' learning.
