Description

We are looking for someone who wants to work with young people in parish work.

In Eksjö, there is a well-developed children and youth work with activities for primary school students, confirmation groups, youth groups, and work with young leaders. Södra Vedbo parish is large in area, but your placement will mainly be in Eksjö. You will be part of the unit for children, youth, and education and one of three parish educators in Eksjö parish. The position is full-time and permanent.

Responsibilities

Lead and plan youth activities in Eksjö parish.
Participate in the leadership and implementation of confirmation education.
Lead and plan camp activities.
Develop work where we can offer our youth to be part of the parish throughout their adult life.
Participation in worship services

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a qualified parish educator or has an educational background deemed equivalent by the parish.

A driving license (B) is required for the position, but not a car. A car pool is available at the workplace.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Upon employment, you will need to provide a criminal record extract intended for work with children and youth.
