Care Assistants Needed at Edsholm Elderly Care

Edsholm Elderly Care has four departments, two of which are dementia care units. There are a total of 44 places, and about 40 care assistants and nursing aides work at the facility, along with one administrative assistant and two nurses. Here, you can make a difference!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for care assistants for Edsholm Elderly Care.

As a care staff member, you will perform qualified care and service tasks based on the individual's conditions and needs. We work to create conditions for a meaningful and enriching daily life for the elderly and to strengthen and preserve their well-being. The care staff play a vital role in our work with the elderly. You will provide professional, individualized care, respecting the person and ensuring their participation and self-determination as the foundation of your work. Your care and service tasks will be of high quality and have a strong customer focus.

Specific tasks include:

• Personal care
• Medical tasks as delegated
• Cooking and other practical tasks in the living environment
• Meeting the daily living needs of the elderly
• Contributing to meaningful activities and community with others
• Documentation in accordance with social services and healthcare laws

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has completed a care and nursing program or has other education and/or experience deemed equivalent.

You have a strong sense of service, are attentive to the needs of the elderly, and are used to working independently, but you must also enjoy and be good at working in a team. You take responsibility for your work. You communicate easily and have good oral and written skills in Swedish, as well as good computer skills. You have the ability and experience to handle stressful situations. You are friendly, supportive, and spread joy. We place great importance on personal suitability.
