Villa Gorilla Preschool is seeking a dedicated and caring childcare worker for a full-time position starting no earlier than May 1, 2025.
We are a parent and staff cooperative that values a safe, fun, and educational environment for children.
About the role: As a childcare worker at Villa Gorilla, you will work closely with colleagues, children, and parents. You will participate in the educational activities, support children's development, and contribute to an inspiring and safe environment.

About the preschool: We are an independent preschool located in Kungsholmen, Stockholm.
We are looking for an engaged childcare worker for our preschool in beautiful premises located near the police station in Kungsholmen. We work according to the Curriculum (Lpfö-18) and focus on the Convention on the Rights of the Child. We create a safe, educational, and creative environment where children can strengthen their identity and language development.
We are looking for a curious, flexible, creative, and experienced childcare worker. The position involves actively contributing to creating inspiring, developing, and safe learning environments for children, in line with the preschool's educational guidelines. It is an advantage if you value collegial learning and have a good ability to implement the curriculum's goal areas in practice. We see professional development as an important part of our operations.
Employment type: 100% / Fixed monthly salary.
Qualifications:
Educated childcare worker, preferably with at least 2 years of work experience or equivalent merit.
Experience in planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing children's education based on Lpfö-18.
Good knowledge of implementing the curriculum, working with systematic quality work, and other governing documents.
Ability to collaborate, lead, and take responsibility.
Professional interaction with children, guardians, and colleagues.
You who apply are driven, proactive, responsible, playful, and cooperative. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language. You are inspired by children's questions, curiosity, and creativity. You see play, the educational environment, and learning as an important part of education and teaching.
Since you work closely with colleagues daily, it is important that you have the ability to collaborate to perform tasks and achieve goals. You show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role and create a good atmosphere in daily work.
