Then you might be the one we are looking for as one of our summer interns for our store with an attached warehouse in Skara!

Astro Sweden's vision is to enable better nature experiences for more people. We do this by offering the latest and right equipment to our customers.

We help our customers realize their big or small adventure. With the right skills and expertise from our employees, we inspire for the next adventure, trip, hunt, or experiment.

We have recently moved into Scandinavia's largest adventure store in Skara. This means we can offer a unique opportunity to work with a large product range in an inspiring environment and newly built premises.

Main tasks in the store

• Work with sales and customer service to customers in the store
• Keep the store clean, appealing, and stocked with goods
• Work at the checkout
• Price tag and alarm as well as other tasks related to store sales

Main tasks in the warehouse

• Pick products according to order lists
• Pack products for delivery
• If necessary, assist with other tasks in the warehouse

Qualifications

You have a positive and unpretentious attitude and treat both customers and colleagues with respect and helpfulness.

In the role of store salesperson, you need to have a natural talent for sales and customer interaction. You need to have an interest in and knowledge of one or more of our product areas: outdoor, fishing, hunting, shooting, optics, or natural science. We prefer that you have sales experience, and it is an advantage if you have worked in a store before.

In the role of warehouse employee, we value that you are meticulous and energetic. You should have experience working in a warehouse, and if you have an interest in any of our product areas, it is a plus.

Since we work in various computer systems and have a large part of communication digitally, you need to have good computer skills and be able to manage working in different computer systems.

We have colleagues and customers in several different countries, and therefore you need to be able to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, and we consider it an advantage if you can speak additional languages.

Other

In the store, you will work during store hours on weekdays and Saturdays according to the schedule. The store is open 10-18 Monday-Friday and 10-14 on Saturdays.

In the warehouse, working hours are scheduled Monday to Friday according to the schedule.

We hope you can start your introduction and temporary employment on an hourly basis in the spring of 2025.
