The Leisure Department consists of the Hall and Arena Unit, the Swimming Unit, the Outdoor Activities Unit, and a joint Leisure Office. The department is under the Culture and Leisure Committee and is known for strong brands and facilities such as Arena Skövde, Billingen Skövde, and Lillegården Skövde.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Skövde Municipality is looking for a creative and driven digital marketing communicator for our leisure office. Are you passionate about creating engaging content and strategic digital communication? Then this job is for you.

Your responsibilities include the following:

• Marketing and Sales: Create and implement marketing campaigns, analyze market trends and target groups to drive sales, business development, and brand awareness. Both internally with our various stakeholders at the destinations and Skövde Municipality's destination company.
• Website and Digital Presence: Responsible for the development and maintenance of Leisure Skövde's various websites, including updates and optimization for the best user experience.
• Social Media: Create engaging content and manage our social media platforms to build a strong online presence, increase engagement, and drive traffic to the website.
• Event Planning: Together with our clients and organizers, plan and facilitate various types of events at our facilities. This can range from conferences to large sports events such as national championships, European championships, and world championships.
• Communication and Information: Work with internal and external communication and be responsible for the flow of information at our facilities through our digital signage system.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with education that the employer deems relevant in digital marketing and communication. We believe you have solid experience in strategic digital communication with a proven ability to plan and execute successful campaigns on social media.

Knowledge and experience in website development, including basic HTML/CSS and understanding of user-friendly design and SEO.

Desirable:

• Experience in marketing, business development, and sales, preferably within the activity and experience sector.
• Experience in planning both small and large events, from concept to execution.
• Good ability to work independently and in teams.
