Have you worked in freight forwarding before and want to take the next step in your forwarding career? Then this could be the right opportunity for you! We are now looking for a driven and meticulous freight forwarder for upcoming assignments in Borås – where experience in sea import is an advantage, but not a requirement.

About the Role:

As a freight forwarder, you will plan and coordinate international transport, maintaining daily contact with suppliers, customers, and partners. You will be responsible for the entire chain – from booking to delivery of the goods. In this role, you will also be the primary contact for the customer, ensuring they are updated on any changes or deviations. Customs handling and invoicing may also be part of your tasks.

Employment Type:

Initially, you may be employed by Posti and work on-site with the customer, with the possibility of becoming directly employed in the long term. In some cases, direct recruitment may be relevant from the start.

Your Profile

To thrive and succeed in the role of freight forwarder, you view rapid changes as a positive challenge. You are flexible in your working style and easily adapt to new conditions. Furthermore, you are communicative and confident in your interactions with carriers, customers, and partners – conveying information clearly and professionally.

We would like you to have:

• Several years of experience in freight forwarding, preferably focused on import and/or sea freight
• Alternatively, a relevant education in logistics or freight forwarding
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills and experience with the Office suite and business systems
• It is an advantage if you have worked with both import and export processes
