Maintenance Technician Wanted in Gothenburg

On behalf of our clients, we are now looking for maintenance technicians who will work variably with troubleshooting, service, and both preventive and urgent maintenance. Our partners operate in various industries, and since we are searching broadly, it could involve anything from food production to the plastics and/or metal industries.

In your role as a maintenance technician, you will work together with your colleagues to contribute to ongoing development and strive for a high-functioning machinery park with a focus on quality. You will, among other things, work with urgent, ongoing, and preventive machine maintenance. Furthermore, troubleshooting and repairs of machines will be common in your daily work. You will also support machine operators in their daily tasks to maintain the machines. The work is planned in accordance with production management, and you will be part of a smaller team where the work is done both independently and in groups.

Your Profile

Requirements:
• Approved high school education in industry, technology, or service/maintenance
• Work experience in service, maintenance, and repair in a production environment
• B driver's license
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills

Meritorious:
• Previous experience from the food industry

We are looking for someone who has previously worked as a maintenance technician/mechanic or has equivalent experience. As a person, you have a great interest in technology. You have good analytical skills and value a high level of service. You are organized and prefer to work in a structured manner but also have the ability to quickly adapt to unexpected situations. You enjoy collaborating and see yourself as a flexible person. Since you will be interacting with colleagues in all departments, good social skills and an appreciation for teamwork are important.
