The Role of System Developer Optimizely

As a system developer, you will work with the development and management of several websites aimed at the region's residents as well as Region Jönköpings län's intranet. The websites are developed and managed in the CMS Optimizely. You will be part of an agile delivery team of about 14 people, which, in addition to system developers, also consists of; requirement analysts, testers, test leaders, architects, application specialists, scrum masters, and project managers.

The team's five system developers have all been hired consultants in recent years. Our focus moving forward will be to build the system development team with a foundation of in-house personnel. This recruitment is the first step in that direction, which means we welcome applicants who want to take an active role in shaping and leading a system development team composed of a combination of employed colleagues and consultants.

You will largely work independently and plan based on the needs and priorities determined by the organization and the team. You will, for example, work with:

• New development of functionality requested by various departments within the region.
• Participating in early decisions regarding pathways and directions related to upcoming development efforts.
• Further development of functionality that has previously been developed within the team.
• Debugging and fixing incidents and problem cases.
• Documenting and quality assuring your and the team's work.
• Working towards a high degree of maintainable code.
• Supporting other parts of the team in developing requirements and creating good conditions for, for example, test leaders and system architects.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement, located in Huskvarna.

Your Profile

IT-Centrum is looking for someone with senior competence in system development. You want to help shape and further develop an Optimizely team that delivers new and further development of high quality. You have a university degree or equivalent in a relevant field and good knowledge of Optimizely CMS (version 12-13). You also have experience with .NET, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, C#, SQL, Entity Framework, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Azure DevOps, Git, and Optimizely Search and navigation. You are accustomed to building code according to SASS & Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and have experience building Single-page applications (SPA). It is also advantageous if you have knowledge of KnockoutJS, NPM, Grunt & WebPack.

As a person, you are self-driven with good collaboration skills. You manage both your own planning and challenges in a structured way, and when needed, you are happy to support and coach others in the team. Furthermore, we see you as someone who works towards jointly set goals and allows these to guide how you prioritize, act, and make decisions in your work.
