Site Manager for Peab Construction, Industry, Lysekil

About the position

In the industry in Lysekil, we are a team of 10 people, including both office staff and skilled workers who work closely together. The operations mainly consist of concrete and earthworks. The workgroup is part of the industrial and maintenance department at Peab Construction and is part of a larger group of site managers with about 80 employees working in industries in Lysekil, Stenungsund, and Gothenburg, as well as smaller and medium-sized earth and construction projects throughout Västra Götaland.

As a site manager with us, you will always have a central role in our projects. You will be a key person and responsible for the execution of the project, where your main task is to plan and lead production from start to final inspection. The main responsibility of the role is to lead, distribute, and follow up on the work within the assigned area of responsibility. You will participate in planning and technical and method selection for work execution, as well as be responsible for ensuring that work preparations are carried out. You will order materials in consultation with the site manager. You will be responsible for maintaining good order at the work site and report obstacles, changes, and deviations in documents and execution to the site manager, as well as write a diary after each workday. This broad responsibility requires you to have the ability to oversee the whole, work in a structured manner, and engage and motivate your employees to achieve set goals and deadlines through good leadership skills.

You are a positive and solution-oriented person who has the ability to lead and inspire others. You have a strong interest in business, are customer- and results-oriented, and enjoy working towards deadlines and set goals. You are structured, meticulous, and responsible with a good safety mindset, which is important as we work in a high-risk environment. You need to have a good ability to collaborate since the daily work involves many contacts with various stakeholders, and you value professional communication with customers, employees, and partners.

About you

To thrive and contribute in the role, we believe you have:

• Technical education equivalent to technical high school, university, or equivalent work experience

• Several years of experience in earth and construction work

• Previous experience in concrete work

• Previous experience in site management

• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

• Good computer skills

• Driving license B
