Stockholm Exergi is the energy company for the people of Stockholm, and we have around 800 employees who work every day to reduce the climate impact of Stockholmers. We heat over 800,000 Stockholmers, and our 300 km long district heating network is the hub for the societal benefits we create. We plan to build a carbon capture facility at our bio-heat power plant in Värtan, with the potential to capture 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year, which is more than Stockholm's road traffic emits during the same period.

What can we offer you?

You will be responsible for the product portfolio related to sustainability for our customers, including existing offerings such as climate compensation, allocation, and heat recovery.

In this role, your focus will also be on future offerings, such as integrating negative emissions into our district heating product from our bio-CCS initiative. To understand our customers' perspectives and needs, you will play an active role in customer relations alongside our account managers. The role belongs to the sales department, and to be successful, you are also expected to collaborate closely with other departments such as Communication, Sustainability, and Business Development. All with the aim of advancing our sustainability work and meeting our customers' needs.

You will also play an important role in the management and development of our collaborative model, Open District Heating, where we capture and recycle excess heat to the district heating network from industries, data centers, and other actors around the Stockholm area instead of letting it go to waste.

Your work will also include:

• Annual follow-up and reporting of our climate products and other sustainability data requested by our customers.
• Monitoring and analysis of both legislation and voluntary frameworks that are significant for our customers' sustainability agenda, for example, by participating in working groups and external forums together with our customers and other stakeholders. This means that you will be the sales department's representative in Stockholm Exergi's CSRD reporting and also capture the needs and information our customers request regarding sustainability.

The role is a permanent position and is based in our office environments in Hjorthagen, Stockholm.

Requirements

• Academic degree with a technical or economic focus or other education combined with relevant experience for the role
• Experience working in the energy sector
• Experience working with sustainability and climate issues
• Experience in product management
• Good communication skills and can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English
• Good knowledge of environmental certifications and building regulations
• Good knowledge of identifying business opportunities and realizing them as concrete offerings
