Are you possibly a construction engineer or perhaps a project engineer within construction services and are you a driven and structured person with a focus on construction technical competence? Then you are probably the one we are looking for! This is a role for you who loves to have many smaller projects running simultaneously and to be part of a strong-knit team of six people.  

Jacob Lindh AB specializes in the sale and construction of hall buildings. We work with three main areas – agriculture, riding arenas/riding facilities, and industrial and warehouse buildings. We project manage and are ultimately responsible throughout the entire process with a focus on quality, precision, and a perfect end result! 

Your role with us 

After our salespeople have sold the project, you take over and have a central role in completing the project planning. In close collaboration with logistics and administration, you are responsible for coordinating and quality assuring the construction process through close dialogue with suppliers and subcontractors. You ensure that drawings and material orders are correct and that all construction documents are completed.  

Your main tasks: 

• Project takeover and planning: Take over projects after sales, hold kickoff meetings, and develop timelines, drawing materials, and prepare material orders. 

• Coordination and execution: Drive and coordinate the various parts of the project, from drawings to deliveries and assembly, while managing several projects in different phases. 

• Supplier management and drawing coordination: Receive drawings from suppliers, ensure they fit together, and be able to explain technical details. 

• Gathering and compiling technical information: Collect information from suppliers such as concrete, steel, and sandwich panel suppliers and compile these into construction documents. 

• Creating assembly drawings – Draw simpler details for the project and quantify materials in AutoCAD.  

• Quantity and quality control – Check summed quantities from drawings, for example by counting the number and lengths of sandwich panels, to ensure that materials are correctly specified. 

• Final documentation – Support the project manager in final documentation and production of as-built documents.  

To succeed in the role 

• You need to have strong technical competence and experience in construction projects, preferably within construction services or steel halls. Knowledge of drawings and material choices is crucial to ensure quality and precision. 

• Are used to having contact with suppliers and coordinating different parts of a construction project. 

• Have good computer skills, especially within the Office suite and basic knowledge of AutoCAD. Experience with Bluebeam or Revit is a plus. 

• Communicate fluently in Swedish and basic English

Problem-solving and the ability to quickly handle challenges are crucial to driving projects forward. It is also important to collaborate with both internal and external parties to create successful results. A customer focus and the ability to contribute to positive teamwork are central to thriving in the role.
