MMB in Båstad AB is a driven and growing company that primarily operates in northwestern Skåne, with its headquarters in Båstad. We have about 60 employees and a strong community. With broad expertise, we carry out the entire spectrum of construction projects – from smaller assignments to large contracts. We are looking for someone who is sharp in purchasing, self-driven, and has experience from similar roles. You are a driven person who enjoys taking responsibility and creating structure in your work. At MMB, you will have a key role in our construction projects where you work closely with project managers, production managers, and suppliers. Your task will be to ensure that purchases are made on time, at the right price, and with clear requirements that meet the project's needs.

The most important thing for us is your experience and knowledge in purchasing.

You do not need to have the longest CV – but you should understand business, be comfortable in supplier dialogues, and be able to negotiate good terms and prices. You enjoy structure and thrive in driving the purchasing process from start to finish. The role also includes contract writing with suppliers and contractors, which requires good knowledge of construction law, AMA, and applicable regulations. You should also be able to develop clear and relevant requirements for inquiries so that deliveries meet the project's technical, legal, and economic conditions.

In addition to purchasing, you will also contribute to other parts of the project work. This may involve supporting in cost estimation work, participating in the design phase, helping with schedules, and working on administrative tasks such as documentation, final documentation, and project follow-up. The role is varied and suits you who enjoy both details and the big picture.

Main responsibilities

• Responsible for purchasing: from inquiry and evaluation to contracts, delivery, and follow-up
• Establish requirements for purchases and inquiries
• Contract writing with suppliers and subcontractors according to applicable construction law
• Contact with suppliers and subcontractors
• Support to project managers and production managers in administration and planning
• Participate in construction meetings and financial meetings
• Contribute to cost estimation work and design work
• Help with the development of schedules
• Work with documentation and final documentation
• Participate in forecasting and cost follow-ups

Desirable experiences (not requirements)

• Experience in cost estimation work and production estimates
• Experience in design
• Knowledge in CAD and drawing work for inquiry documents

• Have relevant technical education or equivalent work experience
• Have previous experience in the construction industry, preferably in a similar role
• Are structured, self-driven, and have an easy time collaborating
• Have good communication skills and are used to working with multiple contacts simultaneously
