About the role
In the role of Technical Advisor/Specification Manager, you will work on specifying Knauf's products and product systems. This also includes Knauf's range within Aquapanel. We have a broad product portfolio with strong potential to continue developing in Sweden. The role is part of Knauf's sales team, and you will report to our Swedish Sales Director. Additionally, there is a dotted line to the international team within Aquapanel.
The position is based at our sales office in Malmö.
Main responsibilities:
- Maintain, develop, and increase Knauf's position within the prescriptive sector in the Swedish market.
- Provide customer-specific consultation on our products and product systems, such as specifications, BIM, or specific construction solutions.
- Preparation of project-specific bids and specification texts.
- Construction project management and follow-up within the prescriptive sector.
- Continuous collaboration with the local sales team and other departments such as Marketing and Technical to secure project-related sales.
- Continuous collaboration and reporting to Knauf Aquapanel.
- Continuous maintenance of Knauf's project database with all project and customer-relevant data.
- Planning and execution of customer-specific seminars, training, webinars, etc.
- Continuous market and competitor monitoring.
Your profile
We see that you have the following background and qualifications to succeed in this role:
- Academic education such as a Construction Engineer or Building Technician, or equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer.
- A couple of years of relevant work experience where you have engaged with architects, property owners, and construction contractors and/or worked on larger construction projects.
- High competence in construction and building technology is a prerequisite for success in the role.
- Experience in selling building systems to architects and construction contractors is an advantage.
- Experience working in CRM systems is an advantage.
- Results-oriented, business-minded, and proactive.
- Strategic, creative, and analytical.
- Relationship-oriented, communicative, and solution- and business-oriented.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form, as the corporate language is English.
It is an advantage if you have worked as a consultant in a similar role.
