Job Description

AFRY Process Industries has a multidisciplinary section in Malmö & Helsingborg focused on expanding AFRY's operations within the Process Industry in Skåne - Join our team!

To strengthen our efforts in Skåne, we need to expand our operations with Pipe Designers. As we have established a new section, you as an employee will have the opportunity to contribute and shape a winning team from the ground up!

In your role as a Pipe Designer, you will be involved in our entire delivery regarding process design and construction. Deliveries include developing the process technical solution and function, selecting components and materials, drawing flow diagrams, creating component and pipe lists, drafting specifications for equipment, 3D modeling, and producing manufacturing and installation documentation.

As a pipe designer, you will support the development of the group and have a significant impact on the team's design in close collaboration with the section manager. You will also assist in building the team and selling new solutions to customers. Other areas of work include actively participating in our projects both internally and externally at the customer site.

As an employee with us, you will either work on-site at the customer's project organization or be part of one of our In-house projects based at our offices in Malmö or Helsingborg. We in the segment are in an exciting phase - therefore, we are now looking for more engaged employees to develop the business to take on more and larger commitments within the process industry!

We are looking for someone who has:

• A technical education from a university, college, vocational training, or equivalent knowledge.
• At least 3 years of experience in pipe design.
• Previous experience in projects and assignments from pipe and facility design, primarily within the process, energy, oil & gas, and petrochemical industries.
• Experience with software such as Aveva E3D, Plant3D, PDMS, or AutoCAD.

In addition, you have excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, and hold a B driver's license as travel to clients is required in the position.

Additional Information

You will belong to AFRY's division Process Industries and work in the segment Local Projects & Engineering South, which extends from Malmö to Lysekil. We already have a very strong foothold on the west coast and are managing several large projects within the process industry with project holistic commitments and services in areas such as Project Management, Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechanics, Piping, Health and Safety, and HVAC. Now we want to expand all the way down to Skåne and are looking for someone who wants to join us on an exciting journey!
