Teater De Vill is looking for actors

We are seeking a female actor for guest performances in 3 shows (A Song for Everyone, How Everything Was, Hey Hyper). The position also includes work with the Creative School project, which means leading workshops at schools. Additionally, parts of the employment period may involve administrative tasks at the office (sales, producer assistant, etc.). The performances are based in Stockholm but will tour other parts of the country. As a touring actor, your responsibilities will also include building and dismantling sets as well as handling stage technology.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in mime acting, or acting or equivalent. Since the performances include singing, dancing, and physical theater (mime acting), documented skills are a prerequisite. As building and dismantling sets as well as handling stage technology are part of the job, prior knowledge in this area is an advantage. A pedagogical education or experience in educational work and/or working with children and youth is also advantageous. Experience in production tasks is also a plus. A driver's license is required.

Employment

The employment starts on August 25, 2025, and extends until May 25, 2026. If possible, some rehearsals may take place in the spring, from late April to May 18, 2025. Teater De Vill applies the collective agreement of the Theatre Union and Theatre Center for free groups.
