Övertorneå Municipality is looking for a certified teacher for grades F-3

According to surveys, Övertorneå Municipality's schools are among the best in the country, and we offer education of the highest quality - from preschool to adult education. All students in primary and secondary school have access to their own iPads or computers, and our facilities are equipped with digital teaching tools. About you

We are looking for a certified teacher for teaching grades F-3 for a temporary position during the school year 2025/26. You should have good pedagogical skills and a positive attitude towards our students. You are flexible, open, meticulous, and have good collaboration skills. We highly value your commitment, sense of responsibility, and professional competence.

As we are the administrative municipality for Finnish and Meänkieli, it is an advantage if you can speak one of these languages.

Job responsibilities

Mainly teaching students in grades F-3 at Svarträvens School.

Scope

Full-time, temporary position from August 13, 2025, to August 12, 2026.
