Work as a Personal Assistant for a Man in Central Umeå

Do you want to work as a personal assistant and be a support in everyday life? We at Aleva are now looking for a colleague who wants to work with a man in his 60s who has an acquired brain injury from an accident. The client lives in central Umeå and is interested in hockey, especially Björklöven, which he cheers for and supports.

About the Position

In the role of personal assistant, you will primarily help with daily tasks such as hygiene, cooking, dressing and undressing, household chores, as well as supporting with structure and planning of everyday life. Mobility assistance is included in the job. You will be the client's support in everyday life and help him continue to enjoy life!

We are looking for three assistants for this assignment:

• One position at approximately 75% - fixed rolling schedule over 4 weeks
• One position at approximately 80% - fixed rolling schedule over 4 weeks
• One position at approximately 90% - fixed rolling schedule over 4 weeks

All positions have day shifts from 10 AM to 10 AM and work shifts between 10 AM - 5 PM and 5 PM - 10 AM. Weekend work either every other or every third weekend.

Start date April 1, by agreement.

Who are you?

We are looking for a person who is calm and secure, with a heart in the right place. You will often work alone with the client and need to be able to plan and carry out various daily tasks as well as other activities such as hockey games, hospital visits, restaurant visits, and shopping. Education and experience are meritorious. At the client's request, we prefer that you have similar interests as the client and are clear, helpful, and self-sufficient. Since we work with people, personal chemistry is the most important, and we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
