Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a communicator who enjoys working closely with the organization – both operationally and strategically. You will have a particular responsibility for press and crisis communication issues within the administration, which means you will monitor the media landscape, manage press contacts, and support managers with media inquiries and crises. You will contribute to developing our press work and strengthen our proactive efforts towards the media.

Your role will also involve working broadly with communication: you will produce content for our internal and external channels, support managers and colleagues in everyday communication, and may participate in planning communication efforts both in the short and long term. You will work closely with one of our departments' management teams and serve as a strategic communication support to their management group – a sounding board for both large and small communication issues.

The emphasis of the role is on the operational side – so if you enjoy producing, coordinating, and delivering communication at a fast pace, you should read on!

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

You have a university degree, at least 180 credits, in media and communication or another education that the employer finds equivalent. We believe you have at least three years of experience as a communicator – preferably within the public sector – and are confident in working with press and crisis communication issues, both reactively and proactively. You are experienced in writing press releases, handling media inquiries, and supporting managers in press situations.

It is advantageous if you have experience working closely with a management team or as communication support to managers. We also appreciate if you have experience in planning and executing communication efforts related to major changes, projects, or crisis management.

You should have a good ability to express yourself in writing and quickly transform complex information into something understandable, engaging, and accessible. You have good knowledge of:

  • Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Digital channels, including intranet and social media

It is advantageous if you have experience working with:

  • Communication planning
  • Press tools and media monitoring services

You have excellent knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. It is also advantageous to have good knowledge of English.

Who are you?

The person we are looking for must of course fit into our values.

Creativity – We appreciate initiative and that you are proactive in turning ideas into action. We are open to trying new approaches and learning from what works – and what doesn’t.

Respect – You will be part of a team where we are honest with each other, help each other, and support one another. You must enjoy the variety of working both independently and collaboratively with colleagues.

Engagement – You enjoy helping others and have fun along the way. You are unpretentious and thrive in a dynamic everyday environment, where you sometimes need to quickly shift from planned to unforeseen.

Just so – we like to have fun at work. It would be great if you think that’s important too.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
