JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for two medical secretaries to join us at the emergency department in Helsingborg! Welcome to an exciting job with us!

In the role of medical secretary with us, you will be offered a varied job with tasks such as writing medical records, monitoring referrals, diagnosis registration (DRG), and sometimes also reception work. In addition, we have other exciting and interesting functions that are unique to our workplace. For example, you may have the function of triage secretary with a coordinator function in the arrival zone/triage. You can also be an alarm secretary where you document during trauma and sepsis alarms. After internal training, you can become a management secretary, a role that involves you working together with the management doctor and management nurse to direct and lead the work for the day at the emergency department.

This position offers you a wide range of work where one day is not like the other. Here you will have good opportunities to develop and gain new work experiences within the profession.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have an approved education in Health and Medical Care Administration of 80 KY points or 400 YH points, or equivalent medical secretary training. In addition, you have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, as well as good knowledge of medical terminology. We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience as a medical secretary and/or if you have worked in any of the systems Melior, Medspeech, PASiS, and/or patient register (PL).

You who are applying have a high sense of service, are flexible, and have a good ability to prioritize between different tasks. Furthermore, you have the ability to remain calm and handle different situations when the pace becomes high. You take great responsibility for your tasks and are meticulous in your work.
