The Municipal Executive Office is the administration of the municipal board. Here, about 100 employees work in finance and procurement, communication, IT, administration, business, tourism, HR and payroll, switchboard, security, and legal affairs.

The position is located in the IT unit, which is organizationally part of the Security and Preparedness department. The unit is a central support function for the municipality and the municipal companies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will perform proactive and reactive measures to maintain stable and secure operations and management of digital assets for our activities. To succeed in this role, a good understanding of the organization's processes and structure, as well as a strong interest in technical solutions, is needed. You will be responsible for managing, planning, and coordinating the tasks of our systems according to our management model. Ensure that the correct licenses and documentation are in place, and that we can collectively follow up on this effectively.

Your tasks include:

• The municipality currently works according to its own system management model (SMYK), which you will develop and advance. We see that the model may need to be developed and adapted.
• You lead and collaborate in our internal meetings with our network of IT coordinators and other key functions in the operations. You are also a representative in external contexts towards, for example, suppliers.
• Manage license administration and support our operations in licensing issues.
• Work administratively and systematically in our support systems. For example, updating the unit's pages on the intranet.
• Participate as a resource in various projects to ensure lifecycle management for our various systems and other digital assets.
• Administration and requirement specification during procurement and contract management in collaboration with the operations.
• The unit works broadly, and you are expected to be able to adapt to new conditions and familiarize yourself with new subject areas, as well as assist with the unit's overall assignments within the IT area.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant university or college education in IT/system science or similar, or equivalent work experience deemed relevant by the employer. Good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are a requirement. Furthermore, we would like you to have experience in system management and case management.

A valid driver's license (B) is required. The position is classified in a security class, and employment is preceded by a security clearance.
