Our client is a well-established consulting company specializing in mechanical design and product development across a range of industries. They work with everything from precision mechanics and pharmaceutical technology to stainless steel and heavy constructions. The assignments range from concept development to finished product, allowing consultants to work throughout the entire development chain. The company offers a creative and technically challenging work environment where no day is the same.

About the role

As a mechanical engineer at the consulting company, you will work on exciting and varied assignments, either independently or in teams with both internal colleagues and the client's own employees. The tasks are tailored to your experience – from drafting, designing, and modeling to managing more advanced product development projects.

For those with less experience, the work may initially involve order design and detail drawing, providing an opportunity to grow into the role. More experienced engineers will work directly on the development of new products and machines, focusing on improving designs and optimizing functionality.

The assignments are available in several different industries, including precision mechanics, heavy industry, and pharmaceuticals, and can involve everything from component development for marine systems to precision technology in hygiene-classified environments. The headquarters is in Helsingborg, but work is often conducted on-site with clients. There is also the possibility to work from home or from office hotels depending on the nature of the assignment.

You have a genuine interest in mechanical design and see technical challenges as opportunities for development. With an analytical ability and a solution-oriented approach, you tackle tasks with both curiosity and drive. The following qualifications are required for the position:

- Engineering degree at least at the university level with a focus on mechanics, product development

- Good knowledge of Creo, Inventor, or Solidworks

- Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

- B driver's license

- At least 1-2 years of work experience in similar roles

- Experience in manufacturing industry, material handling products, machine industry, or process industry is highly meritorious

Start: Immediately according to agreement

Location: Headquarters in Helsingborg, clients are located in western Skåne from Lund up to Ängelholm

Scope: Full-time

Working hours: Office hours Mon-Fri

Salary: According to agreement
