About the role of Site Manager

As a Site Manager at Transab, you will play an important role in our future growth journey in the Highlands. You will be responsible, together with another site manager, for driving and leading land contracts from start to finish, ensuring that the right resources are in place and that we deliver on time, with high quality and good profitability. The role also involves an active part in sales, customer contact, and building long-term relationships.

Your responsibilities include, among others:
✔ Drive and execute land contracts and service work
✔ Plan and ensure the right staffing, material purchases, and machinery and transport resources
✔ Follow up on projects in the field
✔ Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships
✔ Participate in tender submissions and result follow-ups
✔ Be a team player who can step in where needed

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with experience in the contracting, construction, or civil engineering industry. You are driven, responsible, and used to managing multiple projects simultaneously. You have a good ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize your work. To thrive with us, you need to be unpretentious, solution-oriented, and good at building relationships with both customers and colleagues. If you have previously worked in project management or as a site manager in the industry, we consider that an advantage!

About the company
Transab was founded about 50 years ago and is today a complete partner in transport and contracting services. We have offices in Jönköping, Nässjö, Eksjö, and Vetlanda, but we operate throughout Sweden. We consist of three business areas: Construction & Civil Engineering, Logistics, and Contracting. Additionally, we have subsidiaries Bjursells i Jönköping AB, Nässjö Kombiterminal AB (NKAB), Nässjö Miljö och Återvinning AB (NMÅ), and Proc Transportservice AB (Procab). The Transab group has a turnover of approximately 600 million SEK and currently has over 120 employees.

Within the Construction & Civil Engineering business area, we offer transport and machinery services. Often, it involves large volumes that need to be transported, excavated, or lifted.
