Building Permit Designer Wanted for Future Housing

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a building permit designer, you will work independently to produce building permit documents for single-family homes based on wishes and project requirements within volume and panel element building systems. You will ensure that drawings and applications meet applicable legal requirements and detailed plans while maintaining close communication with customers, salespeople, project developers, and authorities. The work sometimes involves direct interaction with end customers and sometimes in project form, depending on the needs of the assignment. In this role, you will combine technical expertise with problem-solving and be a key player in realizing dreams of a new home.

You have analytical thinking and consider both costs and results in your work. With a strong initiative, you take independent responsibility for prioritizing and managing tasks and activities related to the projects. At the same time, you are receptive and unpretentious, with a strong focus on collaboration and dialogue with internal and external parties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that A-drawings are executed according to building systems and planning regulations, applicable laws and regulations, as well as norms and directives
  • Design to ensure that occupational safety and health requirements are met at the client's construction sites
  • Work proactively to ensure and minimize deviations and complaints
  • Actively participate in design meetings
  • Maintain contact with salespeople, customers, and project developers

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a degree as a civil engineer or wooden house designer or equivalent experience
  • Has previous experience working with building permit design
  • Has experience in the house building industry
  • Has worked with design in Revit
  • Has good knowledge of building systems for panel element and volume house technology
  • Has good command of Swedish, both spoken and written, as it is required in daily work with colleagues and customers

Other:

  • This is a 12-month temporary position
  • You can work from one of the offices in: Jönköping, Växjö, Gothenburg, or Malmö
  • There is an opportunity to work from home 1 day/week
