Sales Estimator at TAKAB in Jönköping

Are you an experienced estimator in the roofing/construction industry who enjoys developing customer relationships and wants to work with great colleagues in Jönköping? As a sales estimator with us, you will have an exciting and varied job with the opportunity to participate in many different projects. It is a varied and contact-rich role that requires proactivity and drive. You build customer relationships and actively work with the entire sales process, which includes processing potential customers as well as developing existing relationships. Your tasks include working on project estimates and designs for various projects, including calculating time requirements for new projects, evaluating and following up on estimates, as well as presenting results to project managers. You will drive the entire process from tender documents to bid proposals, follow-up after project completion with evaluation of costs/results, and work together with project managers for knowledge exchange in the estimating phase. You will also work with purchasing and administration related to the projects, which includes negotiating prices for material purchases. Your tasks will also include being out in the field to look at potential projects, meeting customers and suppliers. Your work will be in close collaboration with project managers.

As a Sales Estimator, you are a good relationship builder with business acumen who can contribute to developing our business. Good collaboration skills are crucial for success in the role, and you collaborate with suppliers, customers, and colleagues. You are of course structured in your way of working and have several years of relevant work experience in the profession. You are used to reading construction documents and drawings and have experience with CAD or Bluebeam. We consider personal suitability.

We would like you to have:

• Knowledge and experience as an estimator in the relevant industry
• Experience in creating business relationships and driving the entire sales process
• Good knowledge of reading construction documents and drawings
• Good knowledge of the construction process
• Very good knowledge of construction law and contractual issues
• Experience in purchasing and project administration
• Familiarity with, and good knowledge of, CAD and/or Bluebeam
• Good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel
• Driving license B

The position is a permanent employment with placement at our office in Jönköping.

TAKAB was founded in 1992 and is established in Jönköping but works throughout Sweden. The company's installers are experienced and certified, and most have worked at TAKAB for several years. We do everything from small garages to large industrial roofs. We offer waterproofing systems for low-slope and steep roofs as well as for parking decks and terraces. Product quality is important to us, and therefore we use Swedish products that are adapted to the Swedish climate. Since autumn 2022, we have been part of the Soltech Group and have since then also worked with solar energy.
