Your Responsibilities

As a Quality and Environmental Engineer at JOAB, you will have a dual role that combines operational work with strategic development. You will work both with daily quality and environmental work in pulse meetings and with business development where you drive improvement work and ensure that our processes comply with laws and standards.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Actively participate in the planning and development of quality and environmental work throughout the company.
• Maintain and ensure that our management systems meet and exceed internal and external requirements.
• Drive and develop our work with continuous improvements, quality and environmental deviations, and problem-solving.
• Lead and develop daily “9-pulse meetings” and follow-up meetings.
• Plan and conduct internal audits according to our internal audit plan.
• Support process owners in development work focusing on quality and environment.
• Participate in analysis work regarding quality and environment.
• Support the entire organization in quality and environmental issues.
• Ensure that environmental requirements according to applicable laws and regulations are considered.
• Support the quality and environmental engineer in work with chemical and waste management.
• Develop and manage our Quality and Environmental Management System Canea, admin role.
• Work for continuous rationalizations and improvements within your area of work.
• Drive work on sustainability issues within relevant forums.
• Monthly reporting to the steering card.
• Coordinate internal campaigns.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone at the beginning of their career who has a strong desire to develop. You are curious, proactive, and have good analytical skills. With a structured and solution-oriented approach, you enjoy working both operationally and strategically. You find it easy to communicate and collaborate, while also being able to drive issues independently and take responsibility for your tasks.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

• Education in quality and environment.
• Experience in industrial work.
• Familiarity with working in management systems (CANEA is a merit).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• For this role, you need to be proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is a merit if you have:

• Experience in quality and environmental work, preferably within industry or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with working with management systems and internal audits.
• Understanding of chemical management, legal requirements, and compliance issues.
