Do you want to be a key person in creating efficient and cost-effective supply chains? Svenska Mässan Gothia Towers is looking for a driven and organized Supply Chain Manager who will be responsible for ensuring that our deliveries are made quickly, efficiently, and with the highest quality.
About the role
As Supply Chain Manager, you will have overall responsibility for planning, scheduling, and coordinating all steps in the supply chain for our hotel and restaurants. You will be the head of the Supply department, currently consisting of 12 employees. You will report to Culinary Executive Chef Fredrik Andersson.
Your main responsibilities include:
Planning and Coordination
- Responsible for planning and coordinating all steps in the supply chain, including managing our purchasing system Fresh X, inventory management, and internal and external distribution.
Purchasing and Supplier Management
- Ensure that the company has the right conditions in FreshX for its raw materials and products.
- Support discussions on prices and delivery terms.
- Monitor spot purchases and identify opportunities for larger volume purchases that benefit the company.
Logistics and Transport
- Oversee the transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouses and further to customers.
- Manage transportation costs and efficiency to optimize the supply chain.
Inventory Management
- Ensure that the right amount of goods is in stock to meet demand without creating overstock or shortages.
Cost Control
- Work to keep costs down by finding efficient solutions and avoiding unnecessary expenses at every step of the supply chain.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Use data to analyze and improve processes.
- Report results and performance to the responsible manager for continuous improvement.
Who are you?
We are looking for a person with a relevant university degree in logistics, economics, or similar fields, who has at least three years of experience working in supply chain management or related areas. We see that you have experience managing purchasing, supplier management, and inventory management, as well as a good ability to work with data analysis and reporting. Furthermore, experience in logistics and transport management is required, as well as the ability to identify risks and develop strategies to manage them.

Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement. If you also have a background in the hotel and restaurant industry, this is considered an advantage.
