Within Passenger Services, we perform the minute operational work required for travelers to quickly and smoothly get to and from their flights. What does the role entail?

This summer, we at Passenger Services have a special task – to maneuver our apron drive bridges in connection with the aircraft upon arrival and departure. You will be a key person in the turnaround process, ensuring a safe and smooth connection between the aircraft and the terminal. Thanks to our modern infrastructure, we can offer an even better boarding and deboarding experience for travelers.

In addition, you will also work with PRM services (Passengers with Reduced Mobility). This means that you will support individuals with reduced mobility, ensuring they can safely and smoothly get to and from the aircraft with the right assistance.

The work involves shift work, as the airport is open 24/7. Your working hours will vary between day, evening, and every other weekend. Since some shifts start as early as 05:00 or earlier, you need to be able to travel to and from the airport at all times of the day. This is a seasonal employment from June to August with a chance of extension.

Your main tasks:

• Position and adjust the passenger bridge to securely connect to the aircraft door.

• Monitor safety during boarding and deboarding of passengers.

• Communicate with pilots and ground staff to ensure a smooth connection.

• Perform technical checks and report any faults on the bridge.

• Coordinate with gate staff and cabin crew to ensure an efficient boarding process.

Who are you?

Experience & qualifications:

• Previous experience in machine or vehicle operation (e.g., loader, forklift, airport vehicles)
• Previous experience in service roles
• Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written (additional languages are a plus)
• Good physical ability, as the job may involve heavy lifting and a fast pace
• Have a valid driver's license and access to a car
