About the Assignment

• Start: Immediately or by agreement
• Employment Type: Temporary full-time
• Location: Gothenburg, Torslanda
• Available Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, 2-shift

About the Position

As a forklift driver at Volvo Cars, you will deliver materials to departments and be part of the important logistics work needed to make everything run smoothly inside the factory. We now offer a unique opportunity to develop within the industry.

Your tasks may include:

• Handling incoming deliveries
• Unloading
• Material handling
• Order picking with pick-by-voice
• Forklift driving; where materials need to be moved, handled, and finally delivered to production.

You will work both in teams and independently. The pace of work is high, and you are responsible for completing your tasks within the given timeframe.

About You

To be eligible to work at Volvo, you must have at least a passing grade (or E) in the following high school subjects:

• Mathematics A/1, Social Studies A/1, Swedish A/1 or Swedish as a second language A/1 & English A/5.
• Driver's license B

It is important that your application includes all documents (see the two points above) for us to make a fair assessment.

Meritorious:

• Previous experience in forklift driving
• Experience in loading/unloading from trucks
• Forklift license with qualifications A1-4, B1-4, D1 and TYA certification

Furthermore, you need to have a strong focus on safety and quality, while being structured in your work. You need to be meticulous and are expected to understand and follow instructions.
