Södertälje Friskola is a free school located in central Södertälje with approximately 480 students, just a 5-minute walk from bus and train stations. Our operations are characterized by relatively small teaching groups and a high teacher density. We place great importance on having qualified teachers with high competence and a strong commitment. With us, every student is seen and acknowledged based on their individual circumstances. We believe that language is the key to all forms of learning, which is why we emphasize our students' language development.

The staff is divided into four teams: leisure, grades F-3, grades 4-6, and grades 7-9. We have a well-functioning student health work with teachers, a counselor, a school nurse, special educators, and resource teachers who meet once a week. In addition, a school doctor and a school psychologist are available as needed.

We are looking for a qualified special educator, preferably with a focus on language learning. You should have worked with reading and writing instruction for an extended period and have good competence in the subject. You should be confident and clear in your leadership, have a view of students that aligns with the school's values, and possess good knowledge of the school's governing documents. We place great importance on personal suitability. As a person, you are positive, clear, respectful, goal-oriented, solution-focused, and take personal responsibility. You will be part of the 4-6 team. In addition to being part of the school's student health team, you will work together with other special educators and regular teachers to provide educational activities for students in need of special support, individually, in the classroom, or in smaller groups. The work also involves writing educational assessments, action plans, and follow-ups.
