Join us in developing our health center
Take the opportunity to be part of developing our health center in the transition to Close Care. This includes a personalized assignment with your own patient list and responsibility for our most vulnerable elderly patients. The working method allows for increased home visits, thus providing security to the patients who need it most. In our work towards Close Care, we are constantly working on improvements and developing our methods for the better. As part of this work, we have reduced the number of patients per doctor. Our norm for a medical area with full-time district doctors is 1250 patients, with deductions for any side assignments and part-time work.
About us
In primary care, we invest in the future supply of district doctors and train our own ST doctors. Currently, we have about 70 ST doctors being trained within the region. We have a multimodal team consisting of physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, rehabilitation coordinators, and doctors. Our district nurses have their own areas of responsibility and work alongside nursing assistants and medical secretaries at the top of their competence. The child health care (BVC), maternity care (MVC), and physiotherapy departments are well-staffed with experienced employees, and we have two dedicated unit managers. We invest in distance-independent technology, which means new variation and flexibility for you at work, and there is also the possibility to work from home to some extent. Within primary care in the region, there is a very good research climate, and we encourage research if it is of interest. Our R&D unit can provide support and scientific guidance together with Umeå University.
Frösö Health Center
Frösö Health Center is beautifully located on Frösön just outside the city center, near Lake Storsjö, with currently about 11,000 registered patients. We have a geographical catchment area that includes both urban and rural areas. We are responsible for three nursing homes (SÄBO) and have a well-functioning collaboration with the municipality's district nurses in home care. Frösö Health Center has a stable staff group where we utilize each other's competence through RAK and create good conditions for the patient. We are a well-functioning workplace with good routines, great collaboration, and engagement mixed with a large portion of innovation. This is a workplace that offers a sense of community, where each of us comes up with suggestions for activities before, during, or after work. We have taken a dip at Frösö beach on a warm summer day during lunch, morning gym, walks, and we take advantage of what provides recovery but also community, as it is A and O for us.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The work with us as a specialist in general medicine involves regular outpatient work, home visits, and digital visits when necessary. In a full-time position, you will be responsible as a district doctor for an area with 1250 registered patients.
