VFU Responsible Nurse/Specialist Nurse

Your New Job
Every year, we welcome and offer clinical education (VFU) and supervision for about 150 nursing students in Jönköping Municipality and approximately 400 nursing students throughout the county.
We accept both nursing students in basic education and nurses pursuing specialist training.
As the VFU Responsible Nurse, you will work closely with a colleague and have extensive contact with both the healthcare function's supervisors and the Health Sciences University. Your role includes being the professional responsible within the nursing area and the primary supervisor. Your task is to act as a link between the healthcare function and the health sciences university and to promote a good and developing collaboration. You will be responsible for planning and distributing students in Jönköping Municipality as well as other municipalities in Jönköping County. You will support the supervisor in their supervisory role and in assessing students. Therefore, you will participate in various collaboration groups and work to create interest in development. The position also includes some clinical work.
Your Qualifications
- You are a licensed nurse. If you have specialist training such as elderly care, palliative care, psychiatry, or district nurse training, this is considered an asset.
- You have experience from previous work in healthcare and social services.
- The job requires a valid driver's license (B).
- You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills.
- You have good physical mobility since the work is conducted in home environments and you need to adapt your work methods based on the existing conditions.
It is desirable that you have supervisor training, comprising 15 higher education credits or equivalent training, but this is not a requirement. Previous experience in supervising students is an asset.
As a person, you take responsibility for your tasks and are skilled at planning and organizing your work effectively. You recognize the importance of providing students with an educational and developmental VFU and have the ability to see both the student's and the patient's needs from a holistic perspective. You have good collaboration skills and a flexible approach, and you can adapt to different situations and people you meet in a professional manner.

Welcome to Us
Healthcare Team 10 is part of the healthcare function in Jönköping Municipality, consisting of 13 interdisciplinary healthcare teams and a home team. The HS teams are led by a functional manager, area managers, and unit managers. Eleven of the teams are responsible for geographical areas, while the other teams have special focuses on different target groups, as well as a home team for patients recently discharged from the hospital. Together, we are about 460 employees, with the largest professional group consisting of nurses/specialist nurses.
Healthcare Team 10 covers the areas of Grästorp, Hovslätt, Norrahammar, Taberg, and Månsarp, including rural areas. The team works from the team location at Smedjegården's elderly care facility in Norrahammar and consists of nurses/specialist nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.
Good to Know
The recruitment concerns a permanent position in HS Team 10 as a nurse with responsibilities as VFU Responsible, including some clinical work in the HS team. Start date according to agreement, and working hours are primarily during the day, with some evening and weekend work included. An offer of employment in another operation may be relevant.
