Eksjö home healthcare has approximately 500 patients enrolled, both in special and regular housing. We encounter patients with many different diseases and needs. As a nurse, you will work cross-professionally with nursing assistants, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. Our goal is for the patient to feel secure and live an independent life. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The municipal health and medical care assignment is growing, and Eksjö municipality needs more nurses. Would you like to become our new colleague?

As a nurse in home healthcare, you will meet patients of all ages with various diseases and needs. You will perform health and medical care tasks such as medical assessments, medication management, wound care, and end-of-life care. Documentation and guidance of nursing staff are central parts of your work. Support and advice to patients, relatives, and nursing staff are also included in the assignment, as well as collaboration with other healthcare providers. The work involves close cooperation with the doctors and care coordinators at the health center. You will also collaborate with case managers and managers and staff in elderly and disability care.

The working hours are primarily during the day, with some evening shifts and weekend work every fourth week.

We are looking for a nurse with a focus on psychiatry and one for elderly care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse but also for those who are trained specialist nurses. A B driver's license is required. To thrive in your role, you are a secure and stable person. You are responsible and have a good ability to adapt to different situations and meet people in an empathetic manner. You are structured and can plan and organize your work effectively.
