Are you tempted to make a difference for public health? We are now looking for a nurse who has a strong interest in preventive health work with a focus on what is best for families.

The role of district nurse/child nurse

As a nurse within child health care, your tasks will involve extensive health and prevention work among children aged 0-6 years. You will work according to the child health care program, which focuses on vaccinations, lifestyle habits, and early detection. This means having your own clinics, team visits with doctors and social workers, as well as leading parent groups. We collaborate with preschools, special educators, speech therapists, and dietitians.

Your future workplace

At child health care, we work according to the national child health care program, which includes preventive health care, health examinations, and vaccinations for all children under six years old. We also provide parents with advice and support both individually and in groups.

Your profile

You are a nurse with further education in health and medical care for children and adolescents, or a district nurse.

A driver's license is a requirement.

The position is a permanent full-time position, with a start date according to agreement. You will work daytime from Monday to Friday. The place of employment is Värnamo.
