ABOUT THE POSITION

Academic Work is looking for motivated students for our staffing pool in Sturup. As a terminal worker, you will work as needed but should be available for at least 2 shifts per week. You will become part of our staffing pool where we expect you to be available for booking at least two shifts every week.

We are looking for someone who can primarily work the following hours:

Day Shifts:

• Monday: 02:30 and 5 hours forward
• Tuesday - Friday: 05:00-09:00

There may also be opportunities to work evening shifts in the future, with the following hours:

Evening Shifts:

• Weekdays: 16:00-21:00

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

As a terminal worker, you will work with various tasks; you will handle incoming shipments from both air and truck and, together with the rest of the team, manage the entire process up to the loading of courier vehicles. You will work closely with the rest of the group in a sometimes fast-paced environment.

• Pallet and package handling
• Sorting and loading
• Scanning packages
• Loading courier vehicles

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Are a student with at least 1 year left of studies without an internship/other main occupation of at least 50% expected to last at least 1 year
• A criminal record extract from the Police Authority will be requested and it is required that this is clear
• Can work both morning and evening shifts
• Have a driver's license and access to a car
• Speak and understand Swedish fluently as this is required for daily tasks

It is a merit if you have previous experience from a similar position or hold a forklift license for counterbalance forklift (B1).
