About the role
As a Traffic Manager at Börjes Logistik & Spedition, you will play a central role in transport planning. You will ensure that transports run efficiently, that drivers have the best conditions, and that customers receive first-class service. In this role, you will work with more project-based transports, which means you will handle complex logistics flows in addition to classic planning from point A to B.
Your days will consist of:
- Planning and coordinating transports – from start to finish. You ensure that the right vehicle is in the right place, that drivers have everything they need, and that the entire chain operates smoothly.
- Maintaining continuous contact with drivers, customers, and internal departments to ensure everything runs as it should.
- Managing changes and challenges – sometimes things don’t go according to plan, and it’s your job to quickly find a solution.
- Handling bookings for hotels, ferries, and overnight stays for drivers on longer transports.
- Collaborating with other offices in Sweden and Germany to optimize resources and solve staffing issues.
- Planning transports, especially to and from Europe, ensuring that all regulations and requirements are followed.
- Traveling to Nybro approximately every other month to collaborate with colleagues there.
Are you the right person for the job?
We are looking for someone with experience in the transport industry – perhaps you have worked as a traffic manager, transport planner, or in a similar role, or you have been a driver but have a natural talent for planning, coordinating, and administration.
To succeed in this role, we see that you:
- Are structured and solution-oriented – you like to tackle problems and find smart solutions.
- Are communicative and cooperative – you interact with many different people and need to handle both drivers and customers professionally.
- Have good administrative skills and an eye for detail – you keep things organized and ensure that all transports are well-planned.
- Have knowledge of driving and rest time regulations.
- Are IT-savvy and quick to handle emails and systems.
- Are quick to adapt to changes – things happen all the time in the transport industry, and you need to be able to think on your feet and act quickly.
- Can speak Swedish and English fluently – and have a basic understanding of spoken German (for dialogue with drivers).
- Have experience with Barkfors T5 (preferred but not required).
- Have ADR knowledge (preferred but not required).

Additional information
- Location: Malmö (work is on-site).
- Working hours: 08:00–17:00.
- Employment type: Recruitment, probationary employment for 6 months with the possibility of permanent employment.
- The position is classified in a security class, and a security review with background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) will be conducted before employment. Employment is contingent upon a successful security review. Swedish citizenship is required.
