Responsibilities

As a lawyer at the authority, you will work with a wide range of tasks within the data protection area. Your tasks include handling self-initiated supervision, permit matters, consultations, and preliminary consultations according to the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The organization is also affected by developments and regulatory changes in the AI field.

You are development-oriented and have a strategic approach with the ability to prioritize initiatives that have an impact on data protection. It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience in supervisory work
  • Experience in conducting court processes
  • Knowledge of data protection legislation and practical experience in applying these rules in the private or public sector
  • Experience in providing guidance
  • Experience in working with information security
  • Interest and understanding of technology-related issues, such as artificial intelligence, that are relevant to the application of data protection regulations

Your Personal Qualities

As a person, you are analytical, meticulous, responsible, and unpretentious. You independently and proactively drive your tasks forward, are decisive, and can independently solve qualified tasks in a complex work environment. Additionally, you are flexible and have a good ability to listen to different perspectives. Furthermore, you have the ability to work effectively under changing conditions and can deliver quality even under high workloads. As a representative of the authority, you are trustworthy, communicative, and have the ability to build trusting relationships. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
