What we offer you!
Working as a care assistant in home care means that you meet people in their home environment.
Together with your colleagues, you strive every day to contribute to a meaningful everyday life by providing personal care, support, and social activation. We work to ensure that each individual, based on their own abilities, can manage as much as possible on their own. You will be a primary care contact and together with the individual plan how the services will be carried out.
Your role includes administering medication, which means you need to receive delegation from authorized personnel. Another important task is documentation to ensure good quality and safe care.
The job we offer is a permanent position at 75-100% with a start date according to agreement. Working hours are scheduled with shifts during the day, evening, and weekends. Hässleholm municipality wants to utilize your entire competence and offers you full-time employment. We collaborate with other home care areas, which means that work at more than one workplace may occur. You will always have a primary workplace where you spend the majority of your working hours. If you cannot work full-time, you are still welcome to apply.
Hässleholm municipality aims to create the best conditions for a sustainable work life, so that you can thrive, feel good, and experience job satisfaction. An important part is to offer good benefits to our employees, such as wellness grants and the opportunity to exchange vacation day supplements for days off.
Who are you?
You who are applying are a trained care assistant. We prefer that you have experience in care work, but it is not a requirement.
You have a strong interest and want to be part of developing elderly care. You show respect for the individual with a good attitude and understanding of other people's needs and feelings. Since you work closely with people in need of our services, it is important that you are calm and secure. You can take responsibility for your tasks, are flexible and proactive, and have a good ability to build relationships with others. Since medication delegation and documentation are part of the tasks, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills.
To be able to travel around the area, you need to have a B driver's license.
You share the values and approach described in our employee and leader policy.
