The Sjöbo Health Center is now offering a specialist position for those interested in working as a general practitioner in the countryside!

We are looking for you who are a specialist physician in general medicine and want to work together with a wonderful team at the Health Center.

With approximately 50 employees and around 12,300 registered patients, as well as 1,000 children at the child health center (BVC), we are a health center where interdisciplinary cooperation between different professional groups is central.

Located within commuting distance from Ystad, Simrishamn, Lund, and Malmö, the Sjöbo Health Center is surrounded by beautiful natural areas with access to free parking.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a physician with us, you are part of a team where everyone is given the opportunity to work at the top of their competence. As a specialist physician, you primarily work in the clinic together with six other specialists, seven resident doctors, and two interns.

You are responsible, together with other professional groups at the health center, for investigating, treating, and following up on patients. We have, among other things, a physician's clinic, a nursing clinic, clinics for elderly care, asthma/COPD, and diabetes, as well as extensive physiotherapeutic and psychosocial services. There is also an occupational therapist and a dietitian. Home care in the municipality is also under our responsibility.

We have an acute team with adapted facilities, REKO, and weekly REKO rounds to work systematically with sick leave and have also established a training health center for resident doctors. Our goal is to contribute to good health and quality of life for our patients by ensuring they come into contact with the right person and receive the right care and treatment. We continuously work to develop the operations to offer our patients good and close care.

With us, you will receive an individually tailored introduction based on your previous experiences so that you can integrate into the work in the best way. You will have your own registered patients based on your service (1,100 patients if you work 100 percent). Continuing education and collegial collaboration are prioritized areas to enable a stimulating and attractive work environment.

The position is full-time and is a permanent position, but we also offer the possibility of part-time work or hourly employment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physician with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare, and you have specialist training in general medicine. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are also a requirement.
