Azure Cloud Operations Engineer
Omnia is a leading intranet solution for Microsoft 365, designed to enhance internal communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within organizations. With a personalized and intuitive user experience across all digital devices, Omnia offers powerful tools for content management, publishing, and customizable statistics and analytics.
As an Azure Cloud Operations Engineer at Omnia, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing their Azure environment to ensure high availability, security, and performance. In their Azure environment, they manage operations for over 800 customers with a total of approximately 2 million users worldwide.
Your main responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize the Azure infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.
- Automate operational tasks using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
- Manage Azure services such as virtual machines, networking, storage, AKS, and Azure Functions.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployment processes.
- Optimize costs by analyzing Azure usage and resource allocation.
- Provide support and incident management for cloud-related issues.
We are looking for someone who has
- Approximately 1-2 years of experience working with Microsoft Azure in a cloud operations, DevOps, or infrastructure role.
- Solid knowledge of Azure services, monitoring (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics), and security.
- Good skills in PowerShell for automation and scripting.
- Experience with container management, including AKS experience.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
