Air Defense Combat School (LvSS) is looking for Group Leader/Soldier

The Air Defense Combat School (LvSS) serves as the Armed Forces' competence center for the development, education, and training of Swedish ground-based air defense. The operations are based on three pillars: Development of future air defense systems, Education of today's and tomorrow's officers and specialist officers, and Training of personnel and units in the main service of air defense - combat against aerial targets.

We need reinforcement for our simulator and training facility and are now looking for two continuously employed group leaders or soldiers with combat or sensor backgrounds in the 103 or 98 systems.

Combat Against Aerial Targets Department (SML-department)

The SML department is responsible for the training and education of combat leaders and operators within the various sensor and combat systems of air defense, as well as general combat training. In this operation, the simulator systems play a central and important role.

As a simulator and training assistant, you will support the department's staff in developing and building various scenarios and simulator games. You will also assist in the training and simulator exercises of new conscripts and officers.

As an employee of the SML department, you will also train in your wartime position during various exercises with the air defense battalion, like other staff in the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed military basic training with approved grades

PREFERABLE

• Valid security guard certificate
• Military driver's license
• Previous conscription or GSS K in 103 or 98 sensor or fire unit.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who is interested in technical systems, has good computer skills, and finds it fun and interesting to help practically build simulator games and support the training of operators. You should find it stimulating to become proficient in handling our command systems to train others. The work will involve working in a team as well as independently.

You are expected to be independent and gradually take initiative within your area of responsibility to develop our training. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

The employment form for continuously employed group leaders or soldiers (GSS/K) is for a duration of eight years with the possibility of extension for another four years, totaling 12 years. The employment begins with a 6-month probationary period during which physical requirements and a B driver's license will be required for continued employment.

Preliminary start for employment is 2025-06-02 or according to individual agreement.
