Instructor for Signal Mechanic Training

The Swedish Armed Forces is in a growth phase. New units are being established, and the number of conscripts is steadily increasing each year. For this reason, we need more personnel at FMTS, and we are looking for an instructor for the signal mechanic training at our growing Mechanics School. Main Responsibilities:

The Mechanics School at FMTS Halmstad is focused on conscripts during basic training. The main tasks of the Mechanics School are FSU (continued soldier training), technical training, and the overall responsibility for the conscripts during their position training. The rest of the time during the training year involves professional development in the form of courses or participation in exercise series. The Mechanics School will grow in terms of the number of conscripts, employees, training lines, etc.

Qualifications:

• Officer's degree
• Driver's license B.

Meritorious

• Previous experience as a teacher or instructor at a Mechanics School
• SOU Mark-Electro
• Relevant education in technical services
• Military driving license

The Swedish Armed Forces Technical School, FMTS, based in Halmstad, is a logistics unit where technology is at the center. The unit's activities rest on four pillars – development, education, workshop, and war unit production.
