ABOUT THE POSITION

Mycronic has a large software organization divided into different divisions, and the division you will belong to consists of about 70 people divided into three groups. You will be part of one of these groups that designs the software systems for Mycronic's Pattern Generator, and this control software integrates Mycronic's systems and enables high and reliable performance. Mycronic's technology can be found in everything from jet engines to pacemakers, and due to their strong interest in technology, they invest heavily in research and development. Your closest colleagues are both junior and senior developers and testers, which will give you great opportunities to learn from others but also share your experiences. Job Responsibilities

The projects you will work on will cover various development phases, from idea to finished product.

You will for example…

• Customize and develop software features according to customer requirements and needs
• Receive and analyze product requirements
• Participate in the development and improvement of methods and tools for software development
• Implement and unit test new software features
• Conduct functional testing on machine or simulator

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a relevant academic background in computer engineering, electronics, or similar
• Has several years of work experience in software development within Java
• Has several years of experience working with Gradle
• Experience in a Linux environment
• Is accustomed to working agile
• Is fluent in English as it is used daily

We consider it a merit if you...

• Have experience in GUI, Git, Gradle, Artifactory, Docker, Containers
• Are interested in software architecture
• Have experience in automated test development
• Have knowledge in C/C++
