In the day surgery and postoperative department, we care for patients who are both admitted to the hospital and those who come in the morning and go home after recovering from surgery. The patients we serve come from orthopedics, surgery, gynecology, ENT, and public dental care. The Anesthesia and Intensive Care Unit operates at the region's three hospitals: Örebro University Hospital, Karlskoga Hospital, and Lindesberg Hospital. It is a large unit with about 400 employees. Our areas of work include anesthesia, intensive care, and postoperative and day surgery.

Qualifications

We welcome you who are a trained nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on emergency care according to the previous program structure, or are a trained nursing assistant within the current program structure. To assess employability, transcripts of your nursing education and proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare of protected professional title must be attached to your application.

If you have experience in emergency care, pre-, postoperative, and intermediate care, we consider it an advantage. We place great importance on your personal competence and personal qualities. Given how our operations are structured, this means you need to be responsible, structured, and flexible with the ability to prioritize in independent work. Furthermore, you should enjoy working in a team and thrive in a changing pace to be happy in the role. Treating patients, colleagues, and students with care and respect is a given for us.
