THE ROLE
The role of an Economist with experience in Purchasing and Logistics is a broad position that spans several different areas of work. You will be part of finance, purchasing, and logistics with an important mission to support the rest of the organization with practical and administrative tasks, and you will continuously work in the business system Visma.net and in Excel. It is a broad and developing role with many points of contact both nationally and internationally, and you will have daily contact with the group company in Italy. There are always a number of ad-hoc tasks to tackle, and you should be open to working with many balls in the air. There are several internal efficiency projects to work on and later drive through once you have settled into the role. The position is based at the office in Mölnlycke, and you report to the CEO.
Examples of tasks:
- Ongoing accounting
- Arrival registration & matching of supplier and customer invoices
- Involved in monthly/year-end closing
- Update prices and other product information in the business system
- Operational purchasing work, orders, and delivery monitoring
- Ongoing contact with suppliers and responsible for return management
- Compile reports from CRM and maintain master data as well as create documents in the quality system
- Flow and inventory optimization
- Other administration
WHO ARE YOU?
We are looking for someone who is analytical, structured, and enjoys order and tidiness. You are a curious person who does not give up until you have solved the task. You are social and pleasant and enjoy working both independently and in a team. Furthermore, it is important that you thrive with many points of contact and enjoy being close to the business as well as having good communication skills.
For this position, you need:
- Relevant post-secondary education, preferably a degree in finance
- Several years of work experience in finance
- Experience in purchasing and logistics is highly meritorious
- Excel – an important work tool that you are comfortable using on a daily basis
- Fluent Swedish and good knowledge of English
- Good experience with business systems; if you have worked with Visma.net, it is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of the Office suite and generally good computer skills
