About the position We are looking for an experienced FEM specialist with expertise in NX/Simcenter for an exciting assignment with our client in Västerås. This is a unique opportunity for you who want to work with highly complex technical challenges and contribute to the development of consulting products and services. You will be part of a team of experienced simulation engineers and work closely with design engineers to optimize constructions and ensure that stress limits are not exceeded for cast parts in robotic manipulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct advanced FEM analyses in NX/Simcenter.
• Perform complex FEA calculations on cast components.
• Collaborate with design engineers to optimize constructions.
• Define and implement best practices in computational work.
• Review and approve analyses performed by other engineers.
• Contribute to the strategic development of the consulting business.

Requirements

• Practical experience with FEM in NX/Simcenter.
• Documented experience with complex calculations of cast constructions.
• Experience working in teams with design and construction engineers.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.

Meritorious

• Experience from robotics, automotive, or manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge in material analysis and strength calculations.
• Experience working in a leading technical role.
