Assistance Unit is Hiring a Transport Service Administrator

The Assistance Unit is part of the authority department within the Elderly and Care Administration. We are tasked with providing administrative support to the entire administration.

Due to an upcoming retirement, we are now seeking a Transport Service Administrator to join our unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an administrator, your responsibilities will include invoice management, bookings, purchases, handling payment documentation, monitoring functional mailboxes, archiving, and organizing documents and forms, among other tasks. Shared responsibility as an editor for parts of our intranet is also included in the role.

In the role of Transport Service Administrator, you will investigate and make decisions regarding transport services and national transport services.

You will be part of a workgroup with two fee administrators and another administrator, where you will share tasks and support each other. Collaboration will also occur with other professionals.

We are a total of 15 employees in the Assistance Unit, based at Drottninggatan 1 in Mariestad, close to the travel center.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone with a post-secondary administrative education. Previous experience in case handling/investigation is an advantage.

The role is administrative but also involves many contacts with various operations and mixed assignments from, among others, the assistance manager, department heads, and the administration manager. Therefore, it is required that you are communicative and have an easy time creating and maintaining good relationships.

You need to be attentive, flexible, and meticulous. As a Transport Service Administrator, you must be able to investigate, assess, and make decisions based on current legislation. Therefore, you need to be able to interpret legal texts.
